On July 26th, for the first time in about a quarter-century, an Eau Claire corps took to the road, on the way to an out of state performance.

Our first rehearsal was a big success, despite having to make some unexpected adjustments when we arrived at the rehearsal site and found the power had been shut off. For the first few hours at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Fine Arts Center, emergency lighting was all we had to see by, so we made the most of hallways and common areas. Nevertheless, we got a lot of work done on the first two tunes (In the Stone & Legend of the One-Eyed Sailor.)
